Join us to celebrate Pride month at the first Trade School Queer Tarot, an opportunity to receive readings from our community by queer and queer-friendly practitioners in a queer-friendly environment.

Arden Stern

Arden Stern is a scholar of U.S. visual culture and design history whose current research analyzes the labor history of graphic design in the United States and material histories of digital media. They currently teach in the department of Humanities and Sciences at ArtCenter College of Design, where they are a proud member of the ArtCenter Faculty Federation (AFT Local 5648). Arden has been the recipient of research fellowships from the Walter P. Reuther Library, Winterthur Library, and American Antiquarian Society, as well as of ArtCenter's Samsung-endowed Faculty Enrichment Grant and the Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography Educator Grant. Arden has contributed to various publications, including Design and Culture, Design Issues, and Print, and are currently preparing a book manuscript that analyzes race and labor hierarchies in United States graphic design history.

Cosmic Consults

Teri Hendrich C. of Cosmic Consults is a Los Angeles based artist and astrologer She is a graduate of astrologer Austin Coppock’s Year 1 Fundamentals of Astrology course as well as astrologer Ada Pembroke’s Narrative Astrology I & II courses. Her specialties include understanding the significations of the planet Venus, Fixed Star placements, as well as what the Nodes of the Moon can tell us about our past and future selves through the practice of Evolutionary Astrology. Teri will be conducting 10 minute, mini birth chart readings during Queer Tarot, so come with your exact birth time in hand.

Angi Brzycki

Angi Brzycki (she/her) love for tarot began when she discovered In Giardino die Tarocchi by Niki de Saint Phalle at a lecture by Rachel Pollack. Angi enjoys connecting with others through the dreamlike imagery presented in each of the 78 cards. Angi is a Cancer sun, Libra moon and Scorpio rising.
