Rosalind Jones (she/they) is a queer, Los Angeles-based writer and community organizer. Originally from Exeter, New Hampshire, she has been organizing for nearly a decade within the realms of gender justice, queer liberation, and mutual aid. In 2021, she co-founded the social justice community group Community Solidarity Project which operates out of the old Johnie’s Coffee Shop building in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles. She is the former Deputy Director of Operation Period, now Elevate Us Studios, which empowers menstruating people and advances gender justice through transformative media and education.
Rosalind is a contributor for the online publication Knock Dot LA and authors a Substack titled ‘Another World is Inevitable.’ Her writing centers on her experiences in community organizing spaces, women and femme leaders that inspire her, and how we can strategize the creation of a more compassionate world free from fascism. She holds a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College and a certification in Creative Writing from the UCLA Extension. Rosalind currently lives in Midcity, Los Angeles with her sweet, silly pitbull Luna Eclipse.
